So, I got this very lovely Sunstone pendant from a friend, The Crystal Tigress. (Facebook for her: [link] ), As well as :iconsylver-tigress: here on dA.
I had originally thought of making a dragon around it when I first got it, but since it's such a lovely bit of sunstone, I didn't want to cover up any of the beauty. But when I fidgeted with it, it broke in half. :cries:
I decided because of that, I wanted to sculpt a dragon around it to cover up the crack. The whole crack isn't covered, but the tail goes over most of it.
It was hard to decide what colors to go with it.
I do hope these colors look good. :) I was thinking of the sky, sort of. Since the sun is in the sky and all that. :blush: Little white spots to represent clouds, or maybe even stars.
Yeah. I'm weird. ^^;

Anyways! I hope you all like it!
Since the sunstone was a gift, this belongs to me. I do not give gifts away.
I'll need to find a chain for this. :)

Handmade by me.
Design belongs to me. :)

I wasn't so sure on the blues at first when I saw them on the Facebook page. I am sold now though! It looks so nice with the orange hue in his horns and the sunstone! Nice job!

Yeah. I wasn't sure at first either. But I had to keep going, just in case.
The orange colors really did help pull it together, huh? :)

It really did! My first initial thought was to tell you to go with sun colors and such, since it's a sunstone and help bring out the colors in the stone. But honestly, I think what you chose was the better direction. <3

I'm glad you like it. :) It can be hard to pick colors for such unique stones, huh?
It was nice to see it turn out as it did. <3
