A spring inspired Dragon. Because Spring is my favorite season and I cannot wait for this godforsaken winter to go away! -wills the snow to melt- Often, spring is just dirt with new leaves starting to sprout. As well as flower petals littering the ground. Gods, I love spring. For this one's base, I have a clear base, with a white streak going through it. To me, that's perfect because that can symbolize winter melting away.
Other dragons like her:
Do note that these dragons are put on a small 'pebble' base after they are finished. I take pictures of them as "thumb" dragons because it's cute and I enjoy holding them that way before I secure them to their base.
I'm always ashamed to make a comment because I don't what to say besides it's awesome, very cool or things like that, you work is always well done, the only thing is the eye's line, it need to be more precise but I'm not a expert so screw myself, don't pay me attention XP. I find that combination of color very attractive.
There's nothing wrong with that. If it helps, critiques can often be what you like or dislike about a piece and why. May I ask how the eye's line isn't very precise? I stare at my own work a lot, so I might not be seeing what you're seeing.
You should have more confidence too. Just because you're not an expert, doesn't mean you can't give your opinion to make something better.
I'll trying ta explain myself a better (looking in my short english vocabulary), I tried to mean the lines aren't quiet smooth, a little rough, maybe that explain it better. I have that problem when I do paint, it look a little shaky, no very firm, need more practice with my english.
Oooh. Yeah. They're not perfect, and I admit that. Though, I think part of the problem is the paint beneath the black paint. Makes it hard to get a smooth line. Plus, the eyes are tiny. So I do my best. That's alright. I understood what you meant. Feel free to practice all you want.
